About Us

Our objective is to prevent young people from becoming homeless, socially excluded and be able to provide them a better place they can call home when they leave care. Habod will assess the needs of the young people help and guide them to build skills to live independently ensuring a positive quality of life post care and working in line with each child matter outcomes.

Our Purpose

Our purpose at Habod care is to provide a high standard of accommodation and supportive environment for care leavers aged between 16-25 years. The facility is to ensure young people are able to develop and maintain respect, self - reliance and self-care skills that will enable them to make informed, age-appropriate decisions, regarding their current and future so that they can attain a successful transition into independence and adulthood.

Our Services

The Young people we accommodate and support may have varying needs that may include :
The support provided includes on-24 hours service per day, 7days per week, 52 weeks a year with a strong team of skilled staff who build strong professional relationships with the young people. The service support coordinator assist to provide specific interventions for independent living and are the first point of contact for the young people's emergency intervention /support needs whilst at Habod care Ltd.

ADHD (attention deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

If your child daydreams a lot at school and is easily distracted when they are doing homework or chores, they could be suffering from ADD.


Challenging Behaviour

This condition may put so or those around them (such as their carer) at risk, or leads to a poorer quality of life. It can also impact their ability to join in everyday activities. Challenging behaviour can include: aggression. self-harm.

Moderate Learning Difficulties

This applies to children who have difficulties resulting in school attainments below expected levels in many areas of the curriculum, despite academic support and differentiation.

Self Harming Behaviour

Self-harm is when people deliberately hurt their bodies. People sometimes self-harm as a way to cope with strong physical or emotional pain and distress. Self-harming behaviour is treatable.

Autistic Spectrum Disorder

This is a condition related to brain development that impacts how a person perceives and socializes with others, causing problems in social interaction and communication.
